    If there is ANYONE on the planet that could say SCREW IT, I'm not working out anymore it could of been Kevin........The word Quit was NOT AN OPTION! 







    Starting in the gym right out of the service at the age of 22. Kevin took up Powerlifting. After 35 years, of hoisting Monster Weights in PUSH/PULL competitions, Numerous Injuries and Surgeries over the years, Kevin knew he would have to find a better, safer approach to working out and fitness. 



    He then began to study as much medical research as he could find. The GOAL was to developed a fitness program for those that wanted to workout but had prior injuries, disabilities and limitations like he does. Nerve damage in his back, Titanium Hips and 6 Knee surgeries, Brain Surgery, Kevin had to find a way to get strong WITHOUT WEIGHTS!

    His friends and family joke that Kevin has logged more time in the Operating Room than many New Orthopedic Surgeons. That's no lie...:)

    It was looking bleak that Kevin would ever workout again! Working out was the last problem he had to deal with. In fact doctors gave him a 50/50 chance of just being able to walk normal again! 

    So, Kevin hit the books. He studied, learned, researched medical journals of the effectiveness of ISOMETRICS, the uses, the drawbacks. Kevin Read EVERY BOOK on Isometric training, ever written. Isometrics was an age old form of strength training. There had to be something to it's success!

    Kevin purchased the Iso-Bow and Activ5 Isometric units and began to try Isometrics from his Hospital Bed! He found that Isometrics really worked. Kevin began his NEW journey into fitness without entering a gym. Isometrics, helped speed up his recovery time, reactivated his metabolism, trimmed fat and strengthened up muscles that he hasn't used since his power lifting days!

    Then, here we are. The NEW program helped him Lose 60 pounds at the age of 62! 

    Yet, Working out NEVER left his blood! Something about the muscle pump and holding the weight in your hands is like a euphoric! 

    But HOW can you get strong if you can't lift any type of weight at all?

    In the 1990’s Kevin as a competitive Powerlifter, set an Unofficial Bench Press Record of 515 pounds at a bodyweight of 235. Baseball, Softball, Football, Boxing Powerlifting as well as tryouts with the minor league baseball and semi pro football. Kevin has always been an athlete. 



    Kevin developed ISO QUICK STRENGTH after his recent series of setbacks in 2015. The goal was to get back on his feet as quickly as possible! 

    This blog was born out of the quest. To help others get back to working out, build strength, and feel good about their body again. 

    The Program HYSOMETRICS was designed to give anyone the opportunity to work out no matter what types of injuries they may have! 

    Kevin continues to do research and experiment with ways to build strength, size and lose weight even with his limitations. You will find that his custom designed programs are not just from a book. They are all programs that he used to get back into shape after his surgeries.
