NO TIME WORKOUT...BETTER THAN NOTHING!
“I don’t have enough time” is one of the most common excuses people make for skipping workouts. And honestly, with how busy life can get, carving out time for a long workout can feel like a stretch. That’s where this quick, effective circuit routine. In just 30 minutes (or less!), you’ll hit every major muscle group. Chandler says, “This full-body circuit is perfect for making the most of your time, helping my clients work all major muscle groups in one go.” The secret? Multi-joint movements that engage multiple muscles at once, giving you strength gains and boosting cardiovascular fitness. You won’t be bench pressing cars anytime soon, but you’ll definitely build muscle and improve your overall endurance.
For this workout, grab a pair of moderate-weight dumbbells (or kettlebells, or even two heavy water bottles if that’s all you have). The goal is to keep rest between exercises to a minimum, so you’re constantly moving. Once you’ve finished all four exercises, take a 90-second rest, then repeat the circuit four more times. Yep, that’s five rounds total. Ready to go?
Here’s your lineup:
• Squats – 12 reps
• Bent-Over Rows – 12 reps
• Curl to Press – 10 reps (each side)
• Weighted Sit-Ups with a Reach – 10 reps (don’t overdo it with the weight here)
Don’t have weights? No worries. If using just bodyweight or water bottles still doesn’t feel challenging enough, try this bodyweight circuit designed by a top personal trainer. It’s the perfect no-equipment way to build muscle from scratch. And if you do have access to dumbbells and a little extra time, check out this full-body dumbbell workout plan—it’s a solid starting point for beginners.
