BACK STRAIN HAPPENS TO EVERYONE, AT ANY AGE!

4 SIMPLE EXERCISES FOR A STRONGER LOWER BACK

Lower-back strength isn’t an “over 60” issue.

It matters whether you’re 25, 45, 65, an athlete, a weekend warrior, or somebody who simply wants to move without feeling beat up.

A strong lower back is part of a strong body. But you don’t always need heavy weights or complicated machines to build it.

Try these four simple movements:

1. BIRD DOGS
Start on your hands and knees. Extend one arm forward and the opposite leg behind you while keeping your torso stable.
2–3 sets of 8–10 reps per side

2. GLUTE BRIDGES
Lie on your back with your knees bent. Drive through your feet and raise your hips, squeezing your glutes at the top.
2–3 sets of 10–15 reps

3. DEAD BUGS
Lie on your back with your knees raised. Brace your core and slowly lower one heel toward the floor while keeping your lower back controlled.
2–3 sets of 8–10 reps per side

4. PRONE BACK EXTENSIONS
Lie face down and gently raise your chest a short distance from the floor. You don't need a huge range of motion. Keep it slow and controlled.
2–3 sets of 8–12 reps

THE KEY: CONTROL, NOT EGO.

Your lower back works every day—when you stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, train, and even when you simply maintain good posture.

Train the muscles that support it.

Strong core. Strong glutes. Strong back. Stronger body.

You don't have to wait until your back becomes a problem before you start making it stronger.
